There’s a lot of hype surrounding Stumble Upon’s new URL shortening service, aptly named SU.PR (pronounced SUPER), and this is one new powerhouse service that I think will measure up. Follow the directions at the end of this post and I will pass on a few Beta invites, so you can be one of the lucky few who don’t have to wait a few weeks for the full launch.
Here’s a snapshot of my interface, which I will update with whatever results I get from this post!

Su.Pr features include a Digg-bar like interface for stumblers and visitors alike, helping to promote your content to new heights. Within the admin interface, you’ll be impressed by the many features — including the ability to insert a snippet of javascript to keep the URL shortening and Google SEO juice on your own website or blog.
Plus, here’s a really great walk-through video of the Su.Pr interface, by Tim Ferriss of FHWW fame, as Tim has been using Su.Pr for quite awhile now and has some incredible results to show for it:
OK — how about some Beta invites?

It would be really cool to keep track of how many views our posts/tweets are getting and to see how viral the SpareAir twitter goes with stumbleupon users!

Keep the comments coming! Thank you for the Diggs.
Make sure to use the StumbleBar / Su.Pr when you retweet the post, so I can keep track of the results and DM you the code!
This is going to be a unique experiment for my blog, as it is the first time using Su.Pr for a live blog post.

I re-tweeted it and I’m following you now. I would love to give this a whirl. I am trying to keep building my website traffic further and further. I use Digg, Reddit, and SU, but I would also like to promote the work of others as well as my own.
Thanks for the opportunity,
Roberta

Hi Michael,
I read about this on Tim’s site and am looking forward to trying it out. The combined analytics portion is of special interest to me, so I can’t wait to get started.
Good little experiment design on your setup here, should work well. I’ve RT’d your post on our Twitter page (@TheRentables).

This tool looks like a very powerful way to quickly post tweets across a set of platforms while integrating analytical tracking into the mix. Will we use it? You bet! This is the type of tool that will be heavily utilized by our staff and our clients due to the ease of use and effectiveness of the platform. I predict that the number of posts as well as the amount of traffic that we see will have a nearly immediate boost from this tool.
I am looking forward to giving it a spin so that I can write a review online. Of course, full credit will go to the source of our invite code. ;-)

Thanks to everyone who participated — this experiment is now over! Please check back as I will be updating the traffic results for this post.
Those of you who are now in the beta, feel free to leave a comment with how Su.Pr is working out for you.
This was really fun and I hope to do more posts like this.
For those of you who didn’t have your comments appear:
I didn’t approve your comments if they were very short and did not fulfill the requirements I posted for this experiment, including if you excluded your Twitter ID or by not re-tweeting the Su.Pr URL for this post. I understand if you feel that following instructions is _hard_ sometimes, but come on. =)
(And, bonus kudos to those of you who Dugg this story! Thank you.)
